FALL is HERE!

I am so glad fall has arrived! It has been a long hot and very dry summer here. (Texas)
We are very busy making and putting our new fall items on our web site. I also can not wait to bring out my fall decorations and decorate my halloweeen tree. I will try and take a pitcure and post it.

We have arrived

We have made it to Houston Texas and everything went well. I have been buried in boxes and wood flooring for over a week now :-) But, I have my web site boxes and craft supplies all unpacked and I am almost running back at 100%. It has been crazy but all is good and we are all adjusting to moving back to the big city life. We are getting ready to put up lots of new items to our web store so be sure and come take a look around. More to come soon.

Getting Ready For Our Big Move

We are preparing to move back to Texas. We moved back to Illinois about 9 years ago and loved being closer to my family. But, now all of my children have decided they loved Texas and have all moved back there. My daughter and Son-in-law have blessed us with two wonderful grandkids and my middle son has just recently married a very special girl. So, my husband put in for a transfer and it has come through; so back to Texas we go. I am looking forward to being closer to all my kids and my husbands family but I will miss my family here. So, we have been packing up the house and getting ready to pack up my web site for the big move. I will post again and let you know how our 1000 mile journey goes with our 24ft truck, trailer, car, two dogs, and a cat. :-)

I finally have time to blog about my website. I created www.oldcountrycrows.com about 3 years ago and every month it has more orders than the month before. Its my baby, I get to watch it grow. It gives me something to do since I have an empty nest now.
I love being able to work from home and sell primitive country home decor. The challenge of finding new ways to get the website noticed is exciting, my daughter is always giving me new ideas. Now only if I could get her to help pack and ship orders. I'm always looking for comments and ideas for the website. Make sure you check it out.
I hope to put more products on in the near future.

Family

I can not believe that it is only 18 days until Christmas.

I have been busy shopping and packing orders for my web site.

I try not to let the season get so busy that I forget why we celebrate

or to take time for my family. Family is so very important and it

is always extra special when we get to spend that extra time together;

sharing good food and company. I hope everyone will have a

wonderful holiday season and remember to take time to slow down

and really enjoy the whole thing; from wrapping the gifts, the cookie bakes, to the Christmas Eve service.
